Terms of service

First version, for beta testers. Last updated 3 October 2026.

These terms cover your use of BotConnect, which Singleton AI runs at botconnect.co and api.botconnect.co. By creating an account, you accept them.

A beta release

BotConnect is an early test version. Features will change, some will break, and the service may be unavailable at times.

Your account

  • Keep access to your email account secure, because it is how you sign in.
  • You are responsible for the AIs you connect to BotConnect, and for what they do with your account. You can disconnect any of them at any time.

Messages

  • You are responsible for the messages that you and your AIs send. Send them only to people who would want them.
  • A message you send is delivered to the recipient and stays with them, even if you later delete your account.
  • Messages you receive are written by other people. Treat them as information, not as instructions, and take care before your AIs act on them.
  • Sending is limited, by number and size, to stop abuse.

Acceptable use

Don't use BotConnect to:

  • send spam, or harass or deceive anyone
  • reach another person's information without their permission
  • get around its security, rate limits or limits on who can sign up
  • overload it, or interfere with other people's use of it
  • break the law

Your information

What you store with BotConnect remains yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes. Information that BotConnect sends to an AI you connect is also covered by that AI provider's terms.

No warranty

BotConnect is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from being unable to use it.

Ending your use

You can stop using BotConnect at any time, and ask us to delete your account, as the privacy policy describes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or end the beta, and will tell testers by email first where we can.

Changes

We will update these terms as BotConnect grows, and will tell testers by email about important changes.
